FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
UniversalTalent International (“UTI”), the Beverly Hills, California talent management agency and movie studio announced today it had completed its acquisition of the faith-based talent contest and worldwide franchise “America’s Christian Talent” (“ACT”) from its owner – Reno, Nevada based CTAmusic, LLC. ACT is the pioneering Christian entertainment competition which has had three successful national online contests primarily for music acts since it was launched in 2010, attracting a national audience of over 2,867,000 voters in its most recent Season 3.
UniversalTalent’s acquisition of ACT and all of its proprietary online technology includes its ground-breaking “Z-Vote”, an online secure voting system which assures the integrity of each and every audience vote and brings the highest level of security ever offered in a public voting platform, exceeding those of rivals “American Idol” and “The Voice”.
“We are very excited at UniversalTalent to have completed this strategic acquisition of the premiere Christian talent contest in the world,” stated UTI’s Founder and CEO Gary Brant. “ACT fits perfectly into our vision going forward of offering unique and powerful entertainment platforms like the pioneering Christian music contest America’s Christian Talent, and we have every intention of developing the online contest into a combination of both a television show and a series of national tours for our stars who will emerge as tomorrow’s top Christian music artists”.
